My Expertise, Experience and Enjoyments

Post college and service in the USAF, I have had a highly broad and successful career in the airline, financial services and technology industries. I have served at various management levels at USAir ( now American Airlines) , Visa , Microsoft and Ping Identity. At Visa, I was SVP over online card processing software development, Architecture, Operating Systems and Sustaining Engineering. Was asked to join Microsoft as a Distinguished Executive Advisor in Residence as well as managing several development groups. Eventually, I launched my own advisory firm - Castle Rock Executive Advisory - where I have focused primarily on effective organizational structures, the selection of the right technologies, for the right situational objectives and at the right time. I have also been engaged to facilitate triage reviews after significant outages or other technology launch issues.

As to daily non-work-related time, I focus on Wall Street, college sports as well as always searching for that enjoyable new wine.
